No major update since last meeting. No issues arising so far.

HZB

Not much to report, everything still WIP

ESRF

Nothing new. Performance of DataPortal still unstable. Monitoring, upgrading everything we can, e.g. node.js, mongo DB.

KP: DLS document, facility data volumes. ESRF 200 PB - is that correct?

AdM: maybe that much data, but not all stored in ICAT. 200 PB sounds more like tape capacity - but not in ICAT. ICAT is 40 PB catalogued. Not all data that is on tape is necessarily catalogued

ISIS

No major updates. Working on updating historical DOIs with instrument PIDs. Made a change a few weeks ago to update the ingest to include this link, but only affects future DOIs so now working on backpopulation.

DLS

Kevin reporting in lieu of DLS people being at NOBUGS.

Nearing end of DOI developments - still working on feedback, getting more users involved over the next month to get more feedback before rolling out to production.

AK: Progress on ICAT 7 schema changes? Waiting on Patrick?

PA: already updated the PRs to be compatible with lucene

AK: 2 PRs for investigation sample - can they be merged?

RK: been done mostly by HZB, not had time to look at it recently, would need time to verify the status. October I have limited time unfortunately.

PA: my PR, #390, re-introduces tests which were deleted on #294, which was to do with tests which broke due to lucene, lucene has now been fixed.

KP: so is it waiting for Rolf? waiting for review?

PA: they're marked as draft so not reviewed

AK: so on hold for now

In November ESRF organising meeting re: ispyb and LIMS, will be an ICAT talk. Let Alex know if STFC people interested.

KP: people from Diamond going?

KP: Diamond people will be most relevant, they're working on a new LIMS system for Diamond 2
